The design of the new model from the Alliaura Marine shipyard is based on the rather unusual concept of its larger sisters. The rare combination of centre cockpit and deck saloon is also special here.
With its unusually daring Feeling 55 and Feeling 52 models, the French shipyard has undoubtedly polarised the market. Now, with the launch of a new 48, the renowned company is building a conceptual and visual bridge between the large luxury cruisers and the smaller models in the well-known series. On the one hand, the new boat is intended to adopt the look and general concept of its big sisters, but on the other hand it is also based on the proven features of the previous series of smaller boats.
Thanks to the special combination of centre cockpit and deck saloon, the Feeling 48 also offers the benefits of an elevated saloon below deck with all-round visibility and plenty of natural light. At the same time, there is enough space in the aft section to install a spacious owner's cabin. The Feeling 55 and Feeling 52 already offered this unusual interior configuration. However, the interior layout of the new 48 is now more varied and is also available as a three-cabin version with a split aft cabin. This also makes the ship suitable for the charter market.
A targa bracket with integrated bimini roof spans the cockpit and accommodates the mainsheet guide. Like all Feelings, the 48 is also equipped with the typical integral centreboard. A self-tacking jib is also included as standard. Unlike the larger Feeling 55 and 52 models, however, only one engine is installed in the new boat. The launch price is 452,000 euros.
